Zyne was set up in late 2004 by Chris Taylor; a freelance web developer. After a hectic year or so, Chris began to find that he alone was not enough. After joining forces with Jim, Zyne as it is now was formed. We are passionate about what we do, and we pride ourselves on the quality of our work. As a company, Zyne is focused on leveraging the latest Internet technologies to help businesses expand. Unlike some companies, we are always actively developing and improving our knowledge and procedures because we believe that, to be successful, a company like Zyne must strive to distinguish itself from the crowd. Here's some information on the main people behind Zyne Technologies...
Chris is a programmer at heart and has amassed 8 years experience as a web developer. These days, Chris specialises in the creation of bespoke dynamic websites, generally using PHP and MySQL. In addition to this, Chris is the technical lead for all of Zyne's other projects - everything from Wifi networks to GNU/Linux server administration.
		Jim essentially organises ZT's workload and project manages installations. He also leads the installation team with a very hands on management style. He also takes care of communication between clients and ZT's developers and is often to be found with his ear pressed to a mobile phone.
Woosey is our tame photographer, amongst many other things. The majority of the photos you see on sites in our portfolio have been taken by him. The panoramic images on the Langham Hotel site are a perfect example of his skillset. Woosey is also a very capable networking engineer, and comes on most of our first fix and fitouts of new networks. He also is a contractor for a very large UK based ISP, acting as a Sys Admin and network/server engineer
In addition to this core team, ZT also has a few freelancers who work for us as needed; they include a Perl/Python programmer, an ASP/Microsoft SQL developer, and a Windows network administrator.
